I'm a bit confused how colleges look at actual ap tests. I know that schools primarily consider course rigor and grades. So if I took an ap test, they would look at my grade in the class. But are scores on the ap test automatically sent to the colleges I'm applying to? Are they supposed to, like the SAT I and II? I know that ap test scores can help determine placement and things of that nature once a student is accepted, but what role do they play in admissions?

They don’t, for the most part. Some schools may ask you to self-report your results. You never send the actual report until you’re in.

I’ve heard some teachers giving students automatic 100’s on 5’s. I think that’s corrupt.
