there might be a few new classes added that won’t be in there. as for what to take, i know there’s this one class (it might be a series) that they make the undecided kids take, that basically introduces you to all the majors and the careers you can get into with those majors, etc. don’t worry though; your advisor will tell you what to enroll in but most likely you will be working on GEs

Hey guys i have a question. I got a 4 on Macro economics and the catalogue says i get credit for econ20 B. So does that mean I skip 20-A as well? Also does that mean i knock out 2 of the 3 classes required for Social behaviors?

word of advice: if you placement test out of physics 7a or AP out of math 2A/2B, you may not get proper credit for med/pharm school- they typically require 1 year of college physics and 1 year of college math.
I’m sure AP bio and chem cannot be counted, so every pre med has to retake those, but am unsure about physics and math.

with physics, you can add physics 7e later (supposed to be fairly easy) to make 1 year of physics (7c, d, e).
as for math, my guess is you have to take more, high level ones (diff eq, multi var, linear algebra). if you are an engineering major or something, this probably won’t matter as you have to take all that math anyway.

20a and 20b are not the same. hence different names and numbers. one is micro and one is macro.

So i get credit for 20 B which is just one class? do I have to take another econ class after that or no? (i don’t think it’s a series…)

^EDIT it is a series. So do i just get credit for 20B. Do I have to take 20A next since it’s shown as 20A-B?
