General Chances Question

This is my first thread on CC but I've been watching some other people's threads about chances for some time so im interested to see what people think about mine...(still a Jr but I have a fairly good idea where I will end up). I realize I haven't specified any univercities but I'm assuming that my top choice will most likely be an IVY league school.

I may have a few others but those are my main ones

Hooks: not really any

I feel pretty confident, but college admissions as I'm sure everyone on this site knows are a craps shoot, general input would be appreciated.

Academics and Stats look great. Make sure you are taking the MOST rigorous schedule offered. no fluff classes (art, band, music all count as fluff in some colleges opinions)

You claim you have no hooks which confuses me because if your tennis team is so great, you must have the ability to play tennis in college. I would suggest contacting coaches because w/ your academics and tennis you would have a very good shot at ivy league especially because athletes are viewed somewhat lieniently by adcoms (assuming you are good)

Thanks...
I think my courseload is pretty good, I have all honors/ap academics and my only elective is my independent research course.

My tennis team is really good, unfortuneately my biggest accomplishment on the team was making it my freshman year. I should be starting doubles this year, but the team is spectacular because of a few kids that have national USTA rankings, where I have none.

umm...im impressed

and every college will be impressed

good luck, youll be getting a lot of positive mail

Definitely try to contact the tennis coaches at the schools you're interested in. Being an athletic recruit boosts your chances enormously. Academically, you're doing great.

you forgot to mention your professional ghostriding resume
if you include that you'll get into princeton for sure
