I was wondering which is easier between two semesters of general chem or phys I and phys II, thanks.

I always thought two semester of general chemistry was easier. It depends on whose's teaching most of the time

Do you have any background in either subject? Did you take either of these in high school?

I took both in high school, but I don't think either class would give me an advantage in college ( I got A's in both, but they were both pretty easy classes). I heard that second semester physics a very difficult, and I don't think second semester chem is that hard. Does this sound true?

It completely depends on who you are. There are topics in chemistry and physics that I fully understand, and topics in each that I can't begin to tolerate. Chemistry, for me, was easier.

IMO, Electricity and Magnetism is more difficult than Mechanics and Chemistry would be the easier path overall. But if you are an engineering major, you will end up having to take Physics either way so its up to you.

I hated mechanics (I finally understood it while reviewing for the final unfortunately), but so far E/M doesn't seem too bad (I pick up the concepts a lot faster).

Gen Chem can be either really easy or really hard depending on how your professor likes to test. Actually I guess all of it really depends on your professors.

Chemistry destroyed far more futures than Physics did
