General college search - recommendations

Hi! I'm looking for recommendations for which colleges to apply to!

Info:
4.0 UW 4.82 W
I consider myself a competitive, well rounded student with awards and honors in science, math, music, art, etc.
I'm thinking of an engineering, math, or statistics type major, but I'm really not sure.

Other than HPYSM/ivy leagues, are there any other universities/colleges that you think would be a good idea to look at? I guess I just want to be introduced to some colleges that would allow me to potentially switch between majors and still have strong programs.

Thank youuu! :)

Depending on scores some to possibly check into are NYU, RPI (NY), Rochester, Georgia Tech, Case Western, CMU, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Suny Stony Brook, Maryland, Lehigh, Bucknell, Florida, Texas, UCB, UCSD, Washington and Richmond. Best of luck!

You might also look at the merit money sticky at the top of the financial aid page if your scores match your grades.

A. do you want a mainly tech school, or do you want one strong in liberal arts as well?

B. do you want to be in a large school or smallish?

C. Where do you live? what state? What region are you focused on and how far away from home would you consider going?

A. strong in liberal arts, but I’m applying to both types
B. indifferent
C. I live in MD, and I want to stay closer to the east coast

thanks poi & mdmom!
