My essay had absolutely nothing to do with science. I talked about how some of the most important discoveries a person can make are about life in general (so cheesy, I know lol), and how these discoveries are hardly ever the result of focus on a specific subject.
My examples were:
-I am Sam (The lawyer discovers the power of love, sympathy, blah blah blah.)
-The Devil Wears Prada (The protagonist discovers the importance of achieving a balance between her professional and personal life.)
-Personal experiences (My relationship with my best friend has helped me discover things about my own personality)

Do you think that's OK? Eeek looking at what you guys wrote about (Edison, the Manhattan Project, Columbus, etc.) is making me nervous lol

My essay was pretty bad. I talked about how the Renaissance man of yesterday is gone because subjects are much more advanced and all of the obvious conclusions have been drawn, then wrote a paragraph about how nanotechnology might be able to expand the human mind and allow a whole new world of possibillity.

How many colleges take your best scores from each individual section? Because I thought I had a pretty good test with the other sections, but writing might be shot. I'm gonna have to take it again, definitely.

Dang vocabulary! Give me ones i don't know... But really, I thought the math was easier, the passages were ok, the vocab was tough, the WS was easy, and the essay was hard. I did much better than I thought I would, especially in writing.

how is 1 wrong a 780? I hate that, the math section on the SAT was 10 times harder than November's, in which 1 wrong was 770. Or maybe i'm just in denial
