<p>You must be be hanging around with the wrong people then, lol. A bunch of Californians, especially from LA area, are at Emory.</p>
<p>WashU St.Loius - Back in HS two years ago, this was the school most often compared to Emory. WashU has played the game (US News) with great skill and is now composed of a moderately stronger student body.</p>
<p>SUNY? what was the point of saying that? </p>
<p>and the comparitive strength of two student body's as close as emory and washu is extremely subjective. there's much more to it than standardized test scores and high school gpa.</p>
<p>But when the issue at hand is standardized tests and gpa, WashU does have a slight advantage. Im not saying WashU is a better school, only that its marketing blitz in the former part of this decade has increased its visibilty thereby allowing the school to be slightly more selective.</p>
<p>Then again El Duque, Ive never spent much time researching colleges so im sure you know a hell of alot more about this stuff than I do.</p>
