The Undergraduate Announcement says that if you've got a 740+ SAT2 in foreign languages and choose to do A.B., you can be exempt from the foreign language requirements; but I don't know whether the same is true for B.S.E. In my interpretation of what it says about B.S.E. GER, you have to fulfill any 4 of the 6 distributional areas and apparently you cannot use a 740+ SAT2 to fulfill the distributional requirements for foreign language (and thereby only having to fulfill 3 more areas instead of 4). Any takes?

language does not count as one of the areas required for BSE, you can place into a 200 level language class (which are generally LAs) and take those to fulfill the LA requirement. However, 100 level language classes do not fulfill any distribution requirements
