What does everyone know about this college? I hear it has high Med School acceptance rates, but what about course load, social scene, weather, etc?

I spent two summers there a few years ago- weather is mild, springlike in summer, and I'm guessing pretty cold in winter. It's a BEAUTIFUL campus. It's a small school, with a lot of foreign exchange students.

i got in Early action the campus is amazing all brick with alot of trees and flowers and grass also its on the water front which is awsome if your like me and wanna major in science you get hands on interaction....i have a friend this yr as a FR she seems to party alot... the school is not to strict however it is in a rural area so theres not alot to do outside of the college...so if your looking got a city college dont go here... all in all the teachers care alot and they do have real good med school acceptans rates schools such as tufts, and upenn they have list on the web sight of med schools that recent students have gotten into. good luck, maybe i'll see you there next yr!

Which bay is it on? Is it the Chesapeake?

yes its wonderfull

hi, I think I'm going to WC next fall. Anyone know if they've set up message boards actually on the college site so we can talk to other incoming students?

It's a wonderful and underrated college. You are all lucky to go there. I hear the philosophy dept. is on the rise.

Correction of Post #3.
Washington College is not "on the water". And the water is not the "Chesapeake Bay".
The Chester River is a very few blocks from campus. Certainly easily walking distance.
