I want to try my hand on some real tests, but I'm hesitating to buy the official CB book because it doesn't give exact scores, but large ranges of about 100 points. So, where can I find the best combination of real-life tests AND a detailed scoring rubric?

PR 11 RS has ranges...but of about 40 points or so.

Kaplan has very accurate scores...the 12 test book!

get the CB BLUEBOOK!!!
Even tho the ranges are wack, just go online and find the curves for the some actual SAT tests in the past year and you will match a more accurate score range to your raw scores. The reason I suggest the CB blue book despite their wack score ranges is because you cannot get more accurate and genuine tests than those in the collegeboard book.

Always go to the source.

Kaplan sucks. the tests ate 100000000x easier that the blue book tests. they aren't realistic
get the blue book...... tofulover is right

I know the Blue Book ranges are irritating, but they, in my opinion, are the best practice. We used it in my class and we just took the average of the upper and lower range score to get a definite grade and they were pretty accurate with what I ended up getting and had been getting on pratice.
