General Question about Supplements

There are many supplements such as, "what is your interest in your desired major", "tell me a life experience that tells something about you", etc..

Would you guys agree that these supplements are geared more towards the content in the essay, rather than the way you write? Like to sort of "boast" an experience that really shows your skills and why you are perfect for that major. Giving facts and absolute information, rather than imagery to fluff up the essay such as in the common app essay.

Theoretically, your writing should be just as good as your content. Generally, though, when they move away from personal subjects (a life experience, any of the Common App essays, etc.) and get more into specifics or about their school (why X College, why do you want to major in this field, etc.), they aren’t looking for something “artsy”, necessarily (though, if you can get out as much information and still make it “artsy”, that’s always good).
