<p>Search this forum for Silverturtle’s guide. That’s a great starting point. Will you study on your own? If so you can probably try that. My kids are doing prep (or did prep). We like that because it forces them to find the time. They’re both athletes and their hours are limited; an organized prep class just seemed the best option to us.</p>

<p>Well… My D got a 15-something early junior year, no prep. Took it twice during and at the very end of prep class (May and June) and got 1760 then 1890. Took it one more time this fall, 2050. I think it was very good for her. 500 points is a huge swing though even with prep. I’d ask for recommendations if you’re going that way- don’t just go to whatever place send you a flyer.</p>
