So I am very confused and a little discouraged at myself. I’m a freshman in his gory year at Community College, namely because I want to save the money even though I have quite good SATs, high school GPA etc. Anyways, I’m here as a Business Transfer student, specifically taking Computer Basics, Stats, Marketing, Management, and English Honors. I’m hearing Business is AWFUL to major in, so is switching my major going to screw things up? I’m not sure what I want to do to be honest, I’m more focused on finding a money making job, I love Web Design and Statistics, so I’d like to take those classes sophomore year, but I just don’t understand how the whole transfer thing works, like if I switch to one of those majors, will my freshman classes mean nothing? Forcing me to basically waste a year? I would like to get into WD or Stats, but like I said, the original plan was business and I don’t think it’ll open me up for jobs. Can someone help me out please!
Also, do I have to continue the next semester? Like if I know I want to do Web Design or Stats by then, do I have to finish the entire 2nd semester (whole year) before switching?
Web design has limited options. Go with statistics. Just make the switch. It’s no big deal.
