Hi, everyone! I have a few questions about USC, and I'd appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much!

1.) I'd really like to get some general feedback on the school itself -- student atmosphere/campus life, teacher-student relationship, classes (size, quality, teachers), etc. Also, if anyone has any information on the theater program, I'd love to hear what you have to say. I'm a prospective theater major, mostly interested in doing film work, and I'd like to know if people enjoy the program and think it helps students get a head start in a career in that field.

2.) I'm not from California, and since USC has a population of students mostly from California, I think (correct me if I'm wrong) it's automatically harder for me to get into the school. My grades are very good (all in the A range besides one B+ in an elective class - and if it helps, As and A+s in my AP classes I'm taking this year), and my GPA is either 3.92 or 4.0. I haven't taken SATs yet (I'm a junior), but I've taken PSATs 3 times. My scores aren't where I'd like them to be. Last year I did very well on both reading and writing (not so well on math), and this year I went up in math but down in writing (I have NO clue why). I think I stayed pretty much the same for reading... This year my scores were 520 for math, 580 for writing, and 630 for reading. My reading score is in the range of the usual scores of USC students, but obviously my other scores aren't. My writing score last year was in the 600s (630 or 680 I believe?? I can't remember). ANYWAY, where I'm going with this is I'm curious if you think I have a good shot at getting into USC based on these scores? I'm not planning on taking an SAT class but on using an online packet thing...so I'm hoping my scores go up. If it helps, I have strong extracurriculars and have gotten many awards... I don't know what else you'd need to know, and I know you can't give me a definite answer but just a guess would help.

If anything isn't clear or additional information would be helpful, let me know.

Thank you so much!
