Ok now that's all out of the way I would like to ask a few questions.

What kind of scholarship would I be most likely able to get? What also is the qualites to maintain it?

How strong are the Pre-Law and Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical) departments at UTD?

Curriculum wise, how much time a week will I be "hitting the books"?

What exactly is the Collegium V program? Is it worth it? Would I be able to get in?

That's about it, any answers or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead of time!

1) you should be able to get the AES, the highest scholarship without applying. I encourage you to apply for the mcdermott scholarship (act score might be on the lower end, not sure). i think you should be able to at least make it to finalist weekend. let me know if you have any more ques about mcdermott.

2) pre-law placements are good. quite a few people get into some really great law schools. just own the lsat. the prelaw advisors are also pretty good from what ive heard. the engineering department is probably the strongest dept at utd.

3) maybe 5 hrs a week. it really depends. science heavy classes require more study time

4) CV is the honors program you have to apply to. it’s worth it for their computer lounge and free printing, as well as earlier registration. you’d def get into cv. not hard at all
