General Questions

I'm an OOS student (brief stats: 2340 SAT, 11 AP's, Ranked 4th, UW GPA around 3.75) and I'm pretty confident I will get in.

SO...questions...
1. I've sent scores and submitted my application (everything except transcript and counselor form). When can I expect a decision? I know it says Feb. 15th, but I know people who have decisions now.

Any comments about their engineering program?

Please and thank you :)

You won’t hear before February 15th unless you receive a really big scholarship (and I think you will based on your stats and depending on how big your high school class is haha - assuming its not like 10 people)

Engineering is the best major at Clemson. I went through General Engineering and all the professors were helpful and friendly. You can’t go wrong with engineering at Clemson. (it’s tough though)

Two of my children applied to Clemson with similar stats (last year and 2 years ago.) Both had the application in by the end of summer, both received acceptance and in-state scholarship (along with a few add’l minor scholarships) in mid-October. They will require all admission requirements in prior to making a decision, however.
There is no doubt you will get in with a scholarship. Our family has been very happy with all aspects of the school and its programs!

With those stats you will probably hear within a month of the time all your materials have been submitted.

If you want to be considered for the National Scholars Program (full scholarship) or Honors, you need to submit a separate application.
