General Thread for Opinions on Re-Taking Subject Tests

I'm predicting that many people throughout this day and the next will be asking for advice regarding their subject test scores. Therefore, I thought it might be useful (say, for future CCers that are considering re-taking) to start a general thread for everyone.

I’m a current senior, probably pursuing an undergrad economics/business degree. Colleges on my list include HYP (although I don’t expect to be accepted at all), Columbia, Penn (Wharton), Cornell, and WashU in St. Louis. If I were to retake, the only possible date for me would be the January one.

On the December test, I scored 720 on physics–and not because I didn’t know the material, but because I didn’t leave enough time to bubble in the last 12 answers. (Yes, I know, Exhibit A for ultimate test-taking stupidity.) If I actually study to increase the rate at which I answer questions, I can virtually guarantee a 780+, if not an 800, in January.

Money isn’t exactly a problem, but I’d feel ridiculous retaking physics if I didn’t actually need to.

My past scores:
2370 SAT superscore (two tries)
800 Math II
800 Chinese (eh…but I’m Chinese, so this doesn’t really count :P)
800 Literature
770 World History

You already took 4 subject tests with great scores. I dunno maybe I shouldn’t be talking since I had 770 Bio E, 800 Chem, 800 Math II, 790 USH and then I just took Bio M this Dec (800!). You just don’t have to send physics really.
