So I'm thinking of potentially transferring, but I'm concerned about financial aid (because I hear it's very limited for most schools). Is it possible to transfer and get "good" financial aid? Are there schools out there that guarantee financial aid for their transfers?

I'm looking at schools like Boston University, Northeastern and Tufts. Anyone have any experience with this or have any information about financial aid for transfers- regarding these three schools?

I don’t have experience with those three, but I have had with another that treats transfers just like fr for FA. However, it is one of the 4 most generous colleges in the nation. If you can’t find their transfer policies on their websites, give those schools a call and ask.

I haven’t gotten FA statements from most of my schools yet but one pretty much met my full need. The school doesn’t claim to meet full need, has a high COA and my EFC is very low so it was very generous. So yes, some schools do give great FA for transfers.

I don’t know about the schools you listed. I was accepted at northeastern but I’m still waiting for the FA.
