<p>I think it actually depends on each school. Some carry it over, some don't. Your best bet at finding out is doing some leg-work yourself. Email an admission person for the school you want to attend.</p>
<p>From what I've seen, most schools do not calculate your old GPA into your new one. But grad school committees will see both old and new grades, so they don't stop mattering. But yeah, I'm with RijeosXeper; I think it depends on the school.</p>
