Generally decent grades but TERRIBLE status regarding two major prerequisites?

If you’re serious about haas you would stay another year. A 3.7 is in the 10th percentile for haas. This means that over 90% of the people applying to haas have a higher gpa than you. Take the year to redo the class, and to boost up your gpa and EC’s. Looking at your stats you seem like you would be a very weak applicant for Haas even if you didn’t get a D in calculus.

Well if UCLA, UCSB and Cal are out and you don’t really want to go to Davis it doesn’t seem like you have many other options. I think its probably best to do another year and really raise that GPA because the average GPA of admitted Haas students is about a 3.85. Find an interesting job (or any job), look for an internship, volunteer, do anything. Also, see if you can get TAP certified which should help you with UCLA.

If you can , take a W instead.

its way too late for a W
