I know Cornell's a great school and is pretty strong in all academic areas, but I was just wondering how good their genetics/biology program is for undergrad. I've heard mixed things about professors and TA's at Cornell, although I know it differs depending on the field of study. Also, how bad is the workload? Cornell students are notorious for working ridiculously hard, but is the genetics/biology program any worse? Thanks guys!

You will get tons of premeds in Biology and thus the premed mentality when it comes to workload and stress.

But Cornell’s biology program is absolutely fantastic and has always been known as such.

you would be doing biological sciences with a program of study in genetics. you can look up the Cornell undergraduate biology office online for more info on that.

genetics concentration for bio is one of the more challenging bio concentrations!
