Geographic Breakdown

Can someone please post a link to the geographic profile (e.g. % from each region, International) of the Wash U undergraduate student body?

This information is available for other Universities I've loooked up, but I can't find it for Wash U. I assume it's available someplace.

When I applied I distinctly remember a geographic and demographic map of the student body in one of the main admissions viewbooks.

I know Illinois is the most popular state, MO is second (somewhere shy of 10% if students are in-state)… Either NY or CA are next… Afterwards the other most popular states have got to be MD, TX, NJ, MA, and OH (I don’t know the ranking order of them). I know a lot of people from Tennessee but I’m not sure if that would be in the top 10 overall. If any current prospective or incoming students have the viewbooks they can check to see if Wash U still includes that map

Yep, there’s definitely a map in one of the mailings they send out.
They also like to note that ~60% of all undergrads come from >500 miles away.

Theres a breakdown by state in the admitted student packet, if there is a certain state you want to know?

By all regions, or failing that, all states, and international.

The geographical breakdown information I am looking for is of the type comparable to what other colleges provide on-line, for example here:
[Vanderbilt Admissions Profile | Office of Undergraduate Admissions Financial Aid Fast Facts | Vanderbilt University](http://admissions.vanderbilt.edu/undergraduate-admissions-profile.php)

( Under “Enrollment By Region”; “Enrollment By State”)

This is what I found on website (http://admissions.wustl.edu/faq/Pages/AboutWashingtonUniversity.aspx</a>)

“Washington University’s 11,396 full-time students represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. There are also nearly 2,200 part-time students. Students and faculty come from more than 110 countries around the world. Approximately 90 percent of undergraduates come from outside Missouri; nearly 60 percent come from more than 500 miles away.” Sounds like the admitted student packet (^^^) may have even more specific info
