<p>After doing a little research on these boards, I've been trying to look into Dartmouth's geology major... the only problem is, I can't find anything on their website except for the Earth Science program. </p>
<p>Is there a geology department (of sorts) at Dartmouth and is it under a different name--Kind of like instead of political science, they have government?</p>
<p>geology is (the main) part of the earth sciences department. (which is excellent, by the way). they've decided to call it earth science to convey that geologists study more than just rocks (climate change, for example).</p>
