<p>Hello everyone, I am new to the forums and I have a few questions about the geology/geoscience degree.</p>

<li><p>What is the range of yearly salary that a person with Bachelor's geology/geoscience degree can make during entry and what job?</p></li>
<li><p>How difficult is the degree in comparison to a Bachelor degree like accounting or engineering?</p></li>

<p>3.What schools in Texas are the best to get a Bachelor degree for geology?</p>

<p>1) I’m not sure, although generally bachelors in geology aren’t compensated nearly as well as their peers with a masters. </p>
<p>2)Less difficult than engineering, different skill set than accounting. </p>
<p>3) Texas A&M, UT Austin, Texas Tech, SMU, Baylor, and a couple hours north of Texas, the University of Oklahoma.</p>
<p>I forgot Rice. Its geology/ geophysics programs are also excellent.</p>
<p>What about UT Dallas?</p>
<p>It’s probably good, but I have no idea. I know I’ve read a few papers by professors and grad students at the University of Houston</p>
