<p>Hello, I am applying to UCLA from HS with interest in sciencies. I am not sure which sciences I would like to study, but I want to select Geology/Paleobiology. What do they look for this major, I have taken biology in HS along with chemistry. What other majors would you recommend for admissions. Thanks</p>
<p>My son is a sophomore at CSU Sacramento majoring in Geology and enjoys it. Employment prospects should be good. There are a lot of science prerequisites for Geology, in addition to Chemistry you have to take Physical Geology with lab, Historical Geology with lab, three semesters of Calculus for Math, Physical Science and Engineering majors and three semesters of Calculus based Physics before moving on to upper division courses in Geology.</p>
