Geology?

I was just wondering if geo 101 is a good course to take the fulfill the science requirement? I'm not bad at science, but I am definitely NOT interested in it. I figured it would be better than chemistry or bio (I like bio but it'll probably be filled with super science-y premeds)

Any thoughts?

I can’t help you here, except to also say that Astronomy could also be a science course for you if you’re not into Chem or Bio. I’ve heard that a lot of people really like it, and you get to make use of Morehead Planetarium.

All I know about the geology is that a friend’s daughter took it to fulfill her science–she also wasn’t too interested in chem or bio. Her geo class ended up pulling down her gpa–I’m sure it is different with different professors–but her class was much more difficult than anything she expected. The Astronomy sounds like it might be a good idea.

I would go with Astronomy… Everyone I know who has taken it has really enjoyed it. : )
