George mason vs umbccomputer science

So I recently got into george mason with a and umbc. Does anyone know about the computer science programs and the quality?

My son is a Jr at Mason in the Honors College. There are four advantages of Honors vs non-Honors at GMU. 1. you get priority registration…like first day…so you always get your classes, 2. small class size. His classes average <20 for the most part. 3. Housing is better in the LLC (unless you are a party guy…the HC LLC is great for those staying focused) and 4. one-one-one resources to help you adapt. All kinds of special programs and support. George Mason is GREAT! They have a state of the art cyber security program you should look in to.

Thanks. What’s his major

Honestly they both have decent reps. Hear campus life at UMBC is mixed…they’re trying to turn into more residential and away from the commuter school mode but it’s a work in process. GMU has already gone down that path and is fairly balanced between commuter and residential modes, at least for a school that started out pretty much all commuter. Personally I’d look more seriously at the one that’s instate because of the tuition difference.
