APPLIED TO THE BUSINESS SCHOOL SO I DON'T HAVE TO COMPETE WITH ALL THE POLI SCI PPL!! LOL

WHERE ELSE DID YOU APPLY? WHY gw SO MUCH? YOU'RE BETTER THAN THAT!

LOL well that make me feel a little better..... I applied to a ton of schools... BC is my top choice!! its just some1 told me that GW was a reach for me and I was like WHAT!!! umm but here is the actual list
GTOWN
GW
American
BC
BU
NEU
Tufts
Syracue
Emory
Union
Cornell
Wake Forest
UF
Villanova

Yeah, I think it's safe to say you'll get in.

Dude... how does your school weigh AP classes?!? You've obviously taken a lot, but still, a 5.9192 is pretty insane.

ummm AP is additional .08 per semester and honors are .04
I would say they are pretty inflated!!
2 years ago our valedictorian had a 7.2!!!! and he went to Harvard
our 1 and only IVY (we opened in 2001)

scotty~ what's your area of interest/major?

are you trying to show off with your grades to us boarderline applicants

ummm I am interested in Business....
and no I am not trying to show off, most ppl on this site have way higher stats than I do and I am under the impression that a lot of my schools are very competitive......

just looking at your stuff...your SATs might be a bit low for some of the schools, but as they say, it's all a crap shoot. smaller, private schools are known to look at the whole person, and less a rigid formula.have you visited all of them? don't forget how you feel at them...the personal thing, and all. these schools all have very different personalities,ie, open, closed, preppy/snobby, accepting, weather, suburban/city, etc. but your area of interest is really important, because all your schools will be different in that regard. hope this helps!my kids are in college as of this year, so i'm trying to "give back" what i've learned. you sound refreshingly healthy on the site!

ok, business...no personal knowledge here...what of these schools stress it?

yea... I appreciate the comments.
I know all of those schools have something different to offer and I am excited to find out where I get in. The college app. experience has definitly been enlightening and I have learned a lot!! I have not had the chance to visit all of them, but upon getting letters in April, I will stagger to try and decide and I may have to make some trips before the MAY 1st down payment deadline... I love how much time they give.

SAT scores will definitly keep me out of the schools like GTOWN, Tufts, Emory and Cornell, but I applied to give it a shot! I am thinking that I may have to choose from some of the other schools, which may be tough...

me again..i wrote you a long letter w/ my unofficial impressions of your schools, and they wouldn't let me send it! i'm new at this, and want to help, and i don't know what i did wrong!

i also said be careful of hurtful people on this site...maybe they didn't like that?

have any questions about the schools? maybe that'll work.

well how familar are you with the schools... I am most interested in BC but I know I am wavering on the border with that school. It is pretty tough to get into.

sorry the negativity, but i think you will get into bc :-P
you have better stats then some people from my school who got in there

boston college:
