I have high hopes for tomorrow.
So nervous for tomorrow. I expressed SO MUCH interest in going here. Recorded visits to the school 5 times since 2014! I have a GWU debit. I am so into GWU… I have a 3.4 UW and a 4.3 W … All AP, Honors and Dual Enrollment. President of a club, do golf, in 8 more clubs… Inducted in NHS. Class rank is top 25%. I will be shocked if i dont get in. I got rejected from 6 schools in a row 
@caulineire I think you will get in! You certainly deserve it! It is honestly frustrating because it seems that everyone gets into each other’s dream schools, and it feels so frustrating and unfair for all involved. I got a LL to GW, but my dream schools were Cornell and Duke (and I was so sad to be rejected by both-Cornell ED). My friend who is the val got into Duke but she is not excited because her dream school is Harvard. I too have been rejected from so many schools (5 rejections so far and 2 rejections to programs within schools).

yep really hoping for it. Its my last decision. Got into Northeastern but no aid (problems of being an international student). I really hope its GW.
Apparently they send an email before the decisions are ready? So keep an eye out for that before checking your portal

My D’s college counselor received this email on 3/22:
"Updates from GW Admissions
Dear,
As the cherry blossoms begin to bloom in Washington, D.C. and the GW Undergraduate Admissions Office prepares to release decisions, we thought it would be helpful to share information about the fall 2016 freshman applicants.
• Freshman applications went up an unprecedented 28% with over 25,000 applicants. We saw marked increases in both Early Decision and Regular Decision pools.
• GW plans to enroll 2,575 students in the Class of 2020.
• We anticipate approximately 1/3 of the class will be comprised of Early Decision applicants.
• Given our increase in applications, we expect our admit rate to fall below last year’s rate of 44%.
• In our first-year of test-optional admission, about 20% of applicants chose not to submit scores.
• It is always our hope to be able to utilize the wait list to finalize our enrollment goals. We will have a better idea about whether we can admit students from the wait list in late April.
• We will again offer a number of students the opportunity to enroll at the American University of Paris for their freshman year with a guaranteed offer of sophomore admission to GW. Last year we had a cohort of 29 and we hope AUP will be able to welcome 40 future Colonials this year.
• We plan to release decisions online by the end of March. Applicants will receive an email from the Admissions Office letting them know when decisions are posted on the GW Admissions Activity Center"
Well, let’s all hope it’s today. To be fair, there’s been a rumour that GWU replies the last Friday of March. Taking into consideration that this is today…

I hope decisions come out today. It appears that on the Early Decision Thread, applicants were not notified before GW posted decisions.
FYI - last year my D got her decision just after 5:00 pm EST on March 27th. She received an email directing her to the admissions portal. Good luck, everyone!
