I’m not sure how important interest is to GW but I toured, kept in contact with my admissions officer (even though she was rude and unhelpful), and constantly expressed interest in going to GW if accepted

Rejected with a 2100 SAT, 4.6 W GPA, two varsity sports, captain of track team, editor of nationally acclaimed yearbook, president of Epsilon Nu Gamma and Quill and Scroll, along with two part time jobs and amazing recs. @kaitlynjoy @B_somm8 I feel ya right now
I was rejected with a 3.7UW/4.5W gpa, full college curriculum this year, and 35 ACT, and amazing leadership and community service and extracurriculars… tufts syndrome anyone?
Financial aid is in banner; just got mine. Super excited, it’s actually a financial option for me!!!

Have to say admissions was a crap shoot. Some of you were DEFINITELY more qualified than me (31 ACT, 3.9 UW 4.7 W, great essays, but didn’t really express interest. I did take a gap year though maybe that struck them as interesting). I’m really excited but I’m also really sorry to those of you not accepted, I was rejected from somewhere else two days ago so I know the feeling.

Accepted! I’m so surprised. I didn’t think I was going to get in. I have a 27 ACT score and my GPA is like a 3.2 UW
For those of you who have seen your financial aid award packet, are there any forms that you have missing? Maybe that is why I cannot see my award, although I was told that in order to get an award all I needed to submit was my FAFSA and CSS profile.
10 rejections and 3 wait lists for me…guess all schools are a crapshoot? @radgreek aha idk
Accepted to Columbian as a political science major with the Presidential Scholarship (15k per year)! I didn’t get into the Women’s Leadership program but that’s okay!
33 ACT 2190 SAT 4.0 weighted GPA, I think the thing that set me apart was my supplemental essay- I wrote about my experience as a tour guide at the MA state house and how that experience sparked my interest in politics and history.
Where are you guys seeing the scholarship info? I’m accepted but was hoping for merit aid, where exactly does it say about merit aid on your portal?
