I really tried to emphasize my interest in social justice & international politics (especially in Eastern Europe!!!) in my essays. I think that helped.
American is still my first choice, but I’d probably be happy here too. But probably won’t be able to go anywhere due to $$ ¯_(ツ)_/¯ whatever. Screw the system.
Lol rejected also, 3.9W GPA(8 AP classes and 4’s on all tests) great essays, 33 ACT, captian of my debate team, vice president of two clubs, many extra curriculars, and I visited. Kind of surprised but it’s okay it wasn’t my first choice. Congrats to all accepted
Accepted!! 4.0 UW GPA, 4.5 W. 33 ACT, 4 AP tests so far, each earning 5’s. ~600 hr community service. Got a 25k/yr scholarship but no honors program.

accepted to school of business with presidential scholarship and women’s leadership… also accepted at Georgetown but the presidential scholarship is appealing… any advice??

@rowrowrow72 if money isn’t a huge issue, Georgetown. It’s beautiful and has an actual campus, whereas GW is in the middle of the city and lacks the traditional campus experience. Just what I would do!
So I got into the Honors Program with a presidential scholarship! (VERY UNEXPECTED and excited!) I am just a little confused by what my online portal said-- “We are thrilled to offer you admission to the (College information currently unavailable) at the George Washington University!”
What does it mean by “college information currently unavailable”? I applied to the public health program. Are they just waiting to release that I got into public health?
Not gonna lie super excited and surprised that I was accepted (buisness)! Act 29 but superscore 31 GPA 94. Good essays, 6 Aps and lots of extracurricular. I’m an international student so I am super surprised!! Congrats to all who were accepted

What school would you guys recommend? I got in GWU with 20k/yr School of Business, Gettysburg College 15k/yr or Lehigh with no aid but it is my dream school. Any thoughts?
Did anyone who applied SAT optional get in? I got waitlisted with a 3.8 gpa, 7 president roles, 2 jobs, 1 internship, a little over 500 hours of community service & an amazing college essay… I don’t get their decisions lol.

@rowrowrow72 I’m in the same boat! GW’s scholarship is appealing but georgetown as a whole is more appealing. I was also accepted to the school of business at both colleges!
@almondmilk the scholarship is very appealing! money isn’t a huge issue but I don’t know if I want to force my parents to pay that much. but Georgetown is my absolute dream school
I was wait listed too. 3.72 UW/4.62 W. I didn’t submit my SAT/ACT scores. Final decisions for wait listed people come out mid to late May.
Rejected. 2310 SAT, 34 ACT, pretty good essays and recs(I thought) so it’s pretty surprising.
In to elliot with 25K scholarship!! GPA 4.01 W ACT 33 composite …excited but will probably go to johns hopkins instead
