@idonthaveany, I got rejected from UCB and UCI but got into UCLA, UCR, UCD, UCSB, UCSD

i should clarify what i meant. I should have said that bc is ranked much higher than gw and has a higher mean sat score. I wrongfully assumed that a school that was ranked higher than another would be more selective.

By gw was my safety school, i meant that it was tied with tulane for the worst usnews ranking out of the 12 colleges to which i applied

Waitlisted  2300 SAT, 3.90/4.52 GPA, top 4% of class, ~okay~ ECs

I got waitlisted for Georgetown too, however. This sucks.

You shouldnā€™t have been waitlisted by Georgetown =/

Are we supposed to receive Need-Based FA in the mail?

Reflection: I canā€™t express how excited I am about being accepted! One of my friends was accepted here last year and now attends, so Iā€™ve been able to get feedback from her. I feel like GW will give me the opportunity to achieve so much. Right now, Iā€™m trying to make a decision between attending GW and NYU. Iā€™ll be at the April 18th visit so let me know if youā€™re going too! =)

GWā€™s finiancial aid is sooooo much better than NYU . honestly GW is my top choice right now (still a junior) and i could sit here and tell you everything about it but yeah pick gw .

i live in NYC ā€¦ winters are not blissful . especially if youre coming from sunny FL

umm, GW says my decision isnā€™t available onlineā€¦why is that?

Thank you for applying to The George Washington University. We regret that the decision regarding your application is not available online. The decision of the Admissions Committee will arrive via postal mail in the next few days.

Is this happening to anyone else?

^yeah, i have the same message! i applied to the ba/md program though so maybe it has something to do with thatā€¦
