my letter is at home in nj scared to open it when i get home from work
so based on my research, priority express mail shipping also ships on sunday, so i think there might be a chance it could come tomorrow as well unless anyone else knows differently.
Maybe some of it has to do with proximity to an urban environment? Typically mail comes faster to places closer to the major distribution centers, which tend to be in major cities
I thought gu mailed their decisions through regular first class and not priority express. Do you have a link to where it says how they mail their decisions?
Nothing in upstate NY… starting to think they only sent out the acceptance letters.
The urban environment theory makes sense. Anyone else in DC or Maryland that hasn’t received anything? I felt as though since we were closer we would get decisions yesterday or today, but guess not.
To put down the insecure idea that only acceptances were received today… was anyone deferred?
EDIT: I was reading the Reddit thread and a domestic applicant was deferred so that doesn’t appear to be the case, whew
@a11201 The Gtown Admissions Instagram post shows a priority express mailbox; however, I have never heard of an envelope mailed using that service costing 47 cents, which is what some of the (lucky!) recipients of letters have mentioned. 47 cents says 1st class, I believe.

Mine came in “First Class Mail” with .68 postage and postmark “12/13/2018.” And although I was accepted, my classmate and friend was deferred and we both got letters today. Hope that is helpful.

ACT (breakdown): Didn’t Take
SAT II: Really bad so don’t stress 560 Math 2, 630 US Hist, 670 Math 1, 590 Spanish
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Student Council (Board Member), Affinity Group (President), Theater (President), Track and Field (Manager), Tour Guide (I go to boarding school), Lead conversations with underclassmen on health and diversity. I was consistent with all of these throughout high school.
Job/Work Experience: Camp Counselor for 2 summers
Volunteer/Community service: None really. Just volunteer tour guide.
