I'm an international and got deffered EA this year. I was notified via email and then recieved a letter a few days later, so i expect it will be the same RD.

well i visited georgetown university few weeks ago, and the admission officer said the school only notifies their decision through snail mails.

I'm international and got my EA acceptance via email.

Internationals will get an email.

boston college kids are starting to find out today do you think gtown will be anytime soon?

I called them yesterday, they said they haven't mailed them out yet. So I think it will still take a couple of days.

when did kids start hearing back last year?

Post as soon as you get anything so that we will have an idea when to start watching the mail closer!

i don't understand. one chick -- who's a really nice and honest person i should add, haha -- has up on her facebook that she got into american and georgetown. what the?

Hmm, wish I knew already. :(

** Removed to another thread... I had posted about how someone stated above that "Georgetown isn't as technologically advanced as you'd think (either as to admissions or when you get there--in terms of how much of the campus is wireless, web resources, etc)."

EDIT: Gonna start this as a new thread because I realize it is off-topic for this thread and don't want to derail it. Sorry...

Onechick probably was admitted Early Action.

honestly Georgetown's archaic method of notification, and their UGLY website, cause me to think less of the university.

anyone call their office recently? just got waitlisted at U.Va and i'm anxious, as im sure the rest of you are...

^ archaic may not be the best word there big guy. try "antiquated" or you can go for the straightforward "obsolete."

Does anyone know when they are going to begin mailing them? I just want to get it over with already.

to ensure everyone recieving a decision by april first i would think they would need to have them in the mail by saturday...just my opinion

most schools start mailing out the decisions in random order between the 24 and 27 so that all the letters are out in time enough to reach everyone (even the far away kids) by april 1.

i dont think that anyone has recieved ad rd letter of acceptance or rejection yet so any day now

ugh i hope we get it soon!! This is driving me insane

I do not believe they are that close to being done... an admissions officer emailed me about something with my app, seemed like they were still deliberating.
