They may not always be a fit but they’ll get you there If you work hard

Ok thanks for the reply

anybody else?

bump…will chance back!

You should definitely get into BC. You have good ACT scores and a rigorous schedule. You should also get into Georgetown, but it will be a little harder.

BC = low match to match
GTOWN = match to high match

thanks so much :)

bump…

i think you have a pretty good chance to get into BC… but i’m not sure about Georgetown. Georgetown might be a high match

Chance me too please!

Boston College: Low Match
Georgetown: High Match
Good Luck!

thanks guys…do you know if EA is easier/harder to get accepted? or does it not matter. because I heard that EA accepted kids were usually the shoe ins. Is that true or are they more lenient with EA?

bump 10 char

bump…anyone? I’ll chance back

Georgetown seems to admit a lower percentage of students in EA in relation to how many they admit during RA

yeah  do you think I have a chance at EA though?

bump 10 char…

i just visited upenn the other day…wow! does anyone think i have a chance there? i know it’s much harder but chance me?

Ok so BC has been upping their game recently, at least in terms of EA. So BC would be a match/high match and Georgetown would be a reach. At least EA. If you’re deferred, you might have a relatively better chance RD. UPenn is probably the same as Gtown.

Good luck!

thanks  yeah im still aiming for gtown, the school of business if that helps. oh and i retook the act and scored a 33 if that helps too. if anyone else could post here that’d be great

BC (CAS): Low Match
BC (Carroll): Match
Georgetown (CAS): High Match
Georgetown (McDonough): Low Reach
U Penn (CAS): Reach
U Penn (Wharton): Reach

I’m in a very similar situation to you by the way… I had a 3.42 GPA freshman year, but I have a 3.78 so far this year and expect similar for next year, and I also go to a competitive private school… Good luck.
