georgetown app for students whose parents are immigrants

im having trouble filling out the application

in the section where it asks for family info, i put their name and the country they were born. (i was born in the U.S., my parents are U.S. citizens but were born in another country)

i simply put the country and leave the rest blank since their state isn’t listed. but then when i click to go on to the next page it says i left out the state and zip code blank, but it wont specify which box was left blank so i don’t know what to put for that. i then go back and remove their home country from their place of birth and when i click next, it defaults their place of birth as United States. what do i do? i dont want to leave it blank since it will default to the US which is wrong. but if i leave their country of birth it asks for a zip code and state… and i dont even know which zip code/state they’re referring to… the one where they were born? mine? our address? it’s frustrating too because it says to click a circle if their address is the same as my permanent address above so i selected that. should i just completely fill out their addresses either way?

sorry if this post is confusing but i don’t know how else to explain it. it’s really frustrating that they even ask for parents’ place of birth…if they want to know my race for diversity reasons they should simply ask like all the rest of college apps do, but then don’t just place U.S. as the default country of birth for them if i decide to leave it blank…

Can you take a screenshot and email it to their admissions office?

Have uou tried putting in the province/district name and that nation’s postal code?
