Georgetown Chance & Advice and Other Recommendations

Applying EARLY ACTION to Georgetown Walsh Foreign Service, already in progress.
Public School Senior, Full IB Diploma Programme (with Extended Essay, CAS, and TOK, etc. - less recognized than AP courses but gaining recognition and clearly similar - if not more challenging - in full form)

Should mention no calculus, which they seemed to want, and Latin IB when applying to WSFS... not sure if it matters since my language is dead.

Top 10% of class, no # ranking
UW GPA ≈ 3.78
W GPA ≈ 4.2
SAT I
CR=730 M=660
SAT II
Taking October 6 (MATH 2, US HIST, BIO E/M)
ACT
Composite: 32

EXTRA CURRICULAR:
---Regular Volunteering through First Tee, golf non-profit (1 or 2 hours a week all year)
---Job since 10th grade 8-10 hrs a week
---JHA/NHS
---Volunteered on my district's Congressmen's campaign, (calling it "internship")
---PTA Student Representative
---Latin Club: President, Vice President, and Treasurer (all separate terms of course)
---Varsity Golf 4 years
---Church Youth Group

Was wondering if anyone could give assessment of these known criteria ^^ and any advice as to essays. Not sure if I should try to make it very creative to stand out and risk totally blowing it with a crap essay, or go with a solid but unexceptional work that wouldn't sway much either way. What to Stress in these essays? Individuality? Drive to succeed?

As I'm interested in upper level schools with solid Social Science / Foreign Service Programs, recommendations for other schools are welcome and appreciated. UVA was my fallback but I'd like to apply to several other Top-Teir places like Georgetown just to up my chances of getting in a Big name school (Lower than Ivys higher than UVA)

BIG THANKS!

Uw gpa ≈ 3.73 ****
