What do you think???
I'm also interested in Duke, Cornell, Vandy, USC, and Yale.

I think you had good chances at all those schools. Yale is an exception, since everything is pretty much uncertain there for anyone.

Your ecs are excellent, test scores are solid, you’re published, and an urm(I think).
Do you mind if I ask what’s you’re prospective major?

Chance me back!

Yes, I am a URM, but I dont get as much of an advantage as fully black students.
I am planning on majoring in Political Science and Journalism with a history minor. However, Duke does not offer journalism at all, so I plan to double major in Political Science and history with a minor in english if I end up there. Obviously my strengthes are in the humanities.
my school does not offer a ranking because it is the top public school in the state, and is very competitive.
Thanks for the chance!

For Georgetown, I’d say you have a great chance.

Phenomenal SAT scores! APs are solid- looks like you are doing great in a rigorous courseload…

Good leadership positions in extracurriculars…just make sure your essays are the best you can make them and I’d say you’re in for all schools (with an exception maybe at Yale, but only because of the same reason as the previous poster → uncertainty for anyone at Yale).

Good luck!

You have terrific chances. Apply EA and I predict a fat letter in the mailbox ;)
