20more, You are right Georgetown doesn’t have ED but only EA. If you read their EA rules they forbid you to apply to any ED schools if you are applying there, so they do treat their EA as ED. Hopefully future applicants pay some attention to this factor. Our D applied ED to Vandy and Georgetown EA and when we talked to the ADcoms we were told to withdraw one of them. We withdrew Georgetown and thankfully she did get into Vandy. But imagine what a mess it would be if she got into both.

I would call Georgetown a high match. Make sure you make your resume shine. I don’t think it really jumps out too much on here, but I’m not surprised because you shouldn’t be putting as much time in this as you will your actual app! However, EA is the only available option at Georgetown for early. This option is actually just as or very slightly more selective than regular decision so those saying you will definitely get in under it are wrong. You will have no advantage. You are a high match though.
But then again the school is getting more and more selective (13% this year) so I am now wondering if it may be a low reach school for you. I’m conflicted there.
