Hi I am a junior in High school and Georgetown is kind of my dream school, but I am not sure if I have any chance. I have weighted 4.3 GPA and unweighted 3.7, and am projected to get a 30 for my ACT, I'm hoping to take it two or three times and get a 31 or 32 hopefully. I do 4-5 AP/Honors every year and get mostly A's, I get one or two B's but they're always in AP classes, never a C. I got a 5 on my WHAP exam and expect at least 4's on my exams this year. I did 2 years of honors advanced foreign language, 2 honors and 3 honors--will this kill my chances? I am on the tennis team, investment club, scholastic bowl team, and started and captain the debate team. I will also be captain of scholastic bowl next year. I am also in NHS which I hope to be VP of next year. I am also get involved in my church--I'm catholic--and am an usher and Eucharist minister as well as a member of the youth group. I am also a peer juror. I have good leadership and led a Kairos retreat. I should have good recs and essays too. So do I have a chance? Tha me for your time, ill chance back if you ask!

I think your GPA is a little low but with a 32/33 ACT you are still a good candidate. I would say apply early (they don’t have ED though). Its a reach, but not impossible. I’m not sure how much your Catholicism would help you when applying, but your devoted involvement in something is a good quality. Best of luck.
