Last year, the decisions were sent regular US mail.

General question, is it binding to apply to a particular school at Georgetown? If you are accepted for example, can you switch from say the School of Business to the School of Foreign service etc.

I want to go to Law School eventually so I can’t decide which GU school I should apply to.

Keep in mind that graduate programs are separate from undergraduate programs. You could attend any of Georgetown’s four undergraduate schools, and still go on to law school. What are your interests? If you are interested in business, apply to McDonough; foreign affairs - Walsh; health - NHS. If you don’t know, apply to the College.

Hey guys…at least for undergrads we can only get deferred!
I’m not expecting much, I know Gtown is a reach for me :/

Today is the (most likely) day for mailing… let’s do this! By the postage calculator, if it is mailed today or tomorrow, most of the country should get it Monday.

So do they go up online or are they only in the mail??

also it says december 15th is the dates acceptances come out. Why would they send them out today?

They are in the mail, and they would go out today because schools generally mail out early so everyone gets it by the 15th (like, say, someone up in Alaska). The theory of today being the day was explained somewhere a few pages back in the thread.

My mail is supposed to come in an hour or two. I think I’ll check it, even though I know there’s no way my decision arrived yet.

I knew nothing would be in my mail, but I still ran when I heard it come. Hoping for Monday.

I know I wont hear until monday, but I will be dying for the mail tomorrow anyway! I applied to the NHS internarional health and I read yesterday that about 80/530 will be accepted… Getting nervous!

Praying that it gets to Long Island tomorrow, but I know it won’t get here until Monday. Good luck to everyone!!

Do you think it should get to me by tomorrow? I live in Maryland about :45mins from Georgetown…

You could very possibly get your answer tomorrow, Divy1234. Good luck to you!

Post your results when you know, Divy1234! I will wait by my mailbox until the letter comes. Thank god I have other things to do this weekend, or I might go insane.

only live 30mins away from gtown, so expecting a letter tomorrow! although I’ll be out of the house all day, so I probably won’t see it until Sunday morning haha. good luck guys!

@BlueSky16 I applied to NHS for International Health too! Where did you read those statistics?

Hmm, I wonder if Gtown liked my essay title: Don’t Defer December

80/530 is way off. Per the Hoya over 6600 applied EA thus year and if past history holds form and GU admits 15% of them (usually admit the same percentage as overall admits the prior year) there will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000-1100 admits.
