Leave it to a government run operation to have such inconsistent results.

@CUPKSDAD I thought it was a little bit early for CA, too. Caliboyparents got it early, I guess. I guess what RobSchneider said explains it…

Should I go to Georgetown for 60k/year or a top state school for 15k/year? That is the decision I need to make now. I’m gonna have a crappy major regardless (government/political science).

nothing here in South Carolina!!

Does anyone know if Georgetown has an admitted students weekend? I can’t find anything online

Yes @cassat - they’re called GAAP weekends. The first GAAP weekend is happening right now! I believe they will have 2 more in the coming weeks…

Re: admitted students weekends: <a href=“Admitted Students | Georgetown Admissions Ambassador Program (GAAP) | Georgetown University”>http://gaap.georgetown.edu/admitted-students/

Nothing in northwest Ohio yet

Accepted to McDonough from New York

D has envelope waiting for her from Gtown. 13x9 and thicker than her rejection from Harvard which also came. Does this describe an accepted letter size?

@Parent3223 A thicker envelope might as well be a waitlist letter. Check if you can see through the envelope. If you see a blue slip, your D’s in.

If it helps ease anyone’s stress, I got into MSB with a 4.65 gpa but a 2060 sat and 30 act. I’ve taken 8 aps and have a lot of extracurriculars and two internships, so I’m guessing that helped. Good luck to all! I live in MD and got my letter yesterday. Excited :)

Have any RD acceptees gotten a GAAP weekend email?

just got the letter! wohoo! Accepted to SFS from NJ, while being previously deferred so there is hope for any peeps that were deferred EA, good luck! :)
