Who does the call come from?
Does the call come before the letter?
Call comes from a current student.
Letter usually comes first.
Y’all need to chill out. You’ll find out when you find out.
I am a parent just trying to figure it out!! Not worried one way or the other!!!
@HankE I agree with what you are saying and honestly, when people post comments telling everyone to relax, it’s really not helping. I think this thread helps people that have something in common right now feel connected and supported.
Yes, I agree. I’m just trying to figure out how all of this works. Very different from when I was younger and every school is so different. Thanks!
There is another thread for people to post 2017 EA result, it’s here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/20127204
The first post on last year’s thread was on 12/14/2015, I guess most likely it would be the same this year timing wise.

Does anyone have any suggestions to make my profile stronger if deferred?
^ 1) Take the ACT in January and 2) Take a third SAT Subject Test.
As the 15th approaches, I would like to ask posters to try to refrain from overposting (not that anyone has been doing so).
Results, advice, congratulations, and questions that have not been asked are all great, but it would be best if posts like “Mailman comes at 3 today!” or questions that have already been answered are kept to yourself.
This thread was made to be informational, not to be a stress-reliever.
Do we know if the letters got sent today?
@doloresabernathy Apparently last year they tweeted out then they sent out the letters. I just checked and there is nothing so far… Not sure if calling would help, they might just give an answer of “December 15th.”

Good luck to all of you
So nervous! I just want to get that deferred letter. I have been dreaming about Georgetown since I was in 5th grade, and even though I am by no means the best applicant score wise to apply to Georgetown since everyone seems to have 33+ on ACTs, I hope my personal essays and recommendations will really help my application! I have a question, I got a recommendation from a professor in the business school but I applied to SFS, do you think that will carry any weight? Thanks! Good Luck Everyone!
Might as well post my stats in the midst of waiting!
