@AnxiousEloise @c011e9e I’m in CT and just got my deferral letter today.
When do y’all think Cincy Ohio will come? The mail truck hasn’t come by my 'hood yet.
@warrenbisch I’m sorry At least you have a second change during Regular Decision.!!! What were your stats?
chance*
people who got decisions can you post stats
Just curious, did anyone that received a season’s greeting email also get a decision yet and if so did you get in or deferred? I’m thinking they might have sent it only if you got in. If they accepted you you are still “prospective”, aren’t you? My daughter did NOT get it. No mail yet here. Won’t be until late tonight.
@collegemomjam I wouldn’t worry. The email says something on the bottom about hoping that I consider an application to Georgetown, so I think it was just sent to a bunch of people regardless of even if they have applied or not. (I neglected to read this part before)
@AnxiousEloise and @kgcollege17 And what was in the body of the letter? Anything that implied one way or the other?
Are all e-mails for international students sent already? I didn’t find anything yet…
@collegemomjam It just talked about some events that have been going on recently on campus, and then went on to say that they recently completed Early Action review and are looking forward to RD. They said that RD will have an equal or higher acceptance rate, so it definitely doesn’t imply that I was accepted
BTW, in terms of stats, people are posting them in the results thread: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/georgetown-university/1942651-georgetown-2021-ea-results-p4.html
@kgcollege17 That’s interesting. I still don’t think it means you were deferred. Maybe some more people will post and we will see if there is any significance. Good luck to you and thanks for clarifying.
In Tennessee I didn’t get anything from Gtown and the mail truck just came by.
Does anyone know how international students receive their decisions?
by email @cguzmanmv
Are you positive? My friend in Japan hasn’t heard anything yet and she’s afraid she’ll receive snail mail
NYC suburb letter today with deferral.
Are the deferral envelopes business envelopes and acceptances in large envelopes? White or a colorful envelope?
Has anyone called admissions? I’m considering doing that today, but I’m scared they will tell me just to wait
