Don’t get too down on yourself, @nmocha567 . You seem like an incredibly strong applicant. Admissions is such an insane thing - they’ve never met you, but they’re judging you based off what’s on paper! I’d say you still have a great shot in regular decision. Don’t be too sad… Seems like you’d be a good student at any college
@lulu7575 apply if you’re interested! I recommend taking SAT2 or subject tests though
@collegeiswhack Thank you so much!!! You have no idea how much this means to me that you said that. I guess I’ll just have to be optimistic come March/April!
@mb28*** we seem pretty similar! I guess you just never know. Good luck to him elsewhere, though!
i’m in NC and didn’t get anything today. hopefully tomorrow!
Brooklyn, NY arrived and accepted
Let me know what you hear from Fordham! I just got accepted.
@deparent I got in for Rose Hill! This makes me feel way better!
Good luck to you as well @nmocha567 Whatever school you choose will be lucky to have you.
nothing in ga today
nothing in boston today
Awesome!! I applied to Lincoln Center.
@paveyourpath All Deferral And Acceptances come in the same envelope size. The usual small envelope :(. The only difference i have heard is that in the acceptance letters there is one additional blue housing paper. So even the weight of the letters are practically the same.
Nothing in Chicago suburbs today
That’s so exciting! Congrats!!
Good luck to everyone and don’t lose hope if you’re deferred. The EA acceptance rate was 11% this year-the lowest it has ever been-and far lower than the usual overall rate of 16-17%, so there is definitely still hope come regular decision!
I called admissions and they just said that they sent them out on Tuesday so that they’d be received anywhere between now and Saturday. They also said that students could call Friday and find out.
I forgot to ask if they were going to call accepted students, though. Has anyone gotten a call?
My daughter got her letter in, but she’s working until 11 tonight. It’s killing me!!! It looks like just one simple piece of paper. Those of you who were accepted, what did the letter look like? One sheet or multiples? Thanks!!
Just wondering, where did you find that statistic? @fhgirl16
just got my letter… deferred. super bummed. can we add sat scores and letters of recommendation to our application for the regular decision round?
