The email has absolutely nothing to do with decisions guys
Real simple question here. Asking people who have actually been accepted did you receive the holiday greetings email? not looking for people’s speculations just hard facts

Haha yeah I received that
@CuriousOnlooker you were accepted? If so could you share some of your stats?
Did anyone ever receive a call from Gtown?
No mail from TX yet
@Georgetown2021 I just did. Posted #85
I’m from California and no letter today
I was accepted and received the holiday greetings email @Georgetown2021
I’m going to call tomorrow, I guess.
Got deferred… my first non acceptance and it really sucks. Got into BC and NEU today though which softened the blow.
I got the greetings email, so it looks like no correlation between the two.
Got deferred today to NEU but accepted to BC but would probably go to Georgetown if I get in so I guess we’ll see tomorrow
no letter in today’s mail in the bay area, california even though i thought it would come today… playing the waiting game and praying for tomorrow… probably won’t call because i would rather get it from the letter, though. congrats to everyone who got in, and to those deferred, i will probably be joining you soon! agh so nervous
@class0f2017 i got into BC and NEU today too!! I haven’t gotten my Georgetown letter though…
Is calling tomorrow actually a good idea? I’m seriously considering it because I don’t want my letter to get stuck in a snow storm and have wait (read: die) all weekend…
You’ll just have to wait longer. It’s your choice.
Nothing in Vermont today either
@Georgetown2021 I received it 45 min after I found out I was accepted
hey, guys. I’m a current student at Georgetown and just want to congratulate everyone accepted. it was a tough year to apply. to all those deferred, don’t beat yourself up. don’t look to your stats and ask how this could happen because, in the end, those stats are almost meaningless. i’m not going to lie to you, it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll get in now, but it’s not the end of the world. there are thousands of good schools out there. you’ll be just fine.
