When I try to call the admissions office, it doesn’t even ring, just beeps obnoxiously… has this happened to anyone else?

And I’m not extraordinary in any way- I’m from a rural town with a 32 ACT, no AP’S, but with a dream. If I can do it, so can all of you. Even if it isn’t Georgetown, you will end up where you’re meant to be!!!

I honestly don’t know what to do with this deferral. All my friends around me are getting into their dream schools (Princeton, Yale, Harvard, even jhu bme) and I’m just here sulking. I think I’m giving up on the rest of college apps like I’m just gonna go hide in a closet and cry
Hey guys, I didn’t apply to Georgetown but one of my friends applied EA and he had a few questions.
His mail came today and he didn’t get the letter yet, so he called the office of admissions to get his decision. Unfortunately, the line was busy the first time and the next time they had already closed. Does anyone know if they might be open this weekend for him to call? Also, are they still calling admitted students this year because he has been hoping for a call but hasn’t heard of people getting them yet?

@foliontai unfortunately, I highly doubt that they’ll be open over the weekend. I was talking to a friend in GAAP (the group that coordinates the phone calls) and those are being postponed till January this year.
