that’s awesome, where can we read more?

On the return to campus piece, Georgetown hasn’t announced many details, probably because it will depend on what public health orders are in place. The press release/email sent to students is here Preparing for a Full Return to Campus This Fall | President John J. DeGioia | Georgetown University

so are we thinking today or

Maybe (personally I think it’s pretty likely) but I wouldn’t count on it. Could definitely still come out over the weekend or on Monday.

I’m guessing this evening because today is the last day of classes for students before Spring/Easter break starts tomorrow. I’m not sure if the Admissions Office is on break next week, but it would make sense given it will be Holy Week.

Or, you, know, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I’d love to know today, but I think it’s unlikely.

Yes I’m fully aware of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday :slightly_smiling_face: The reason I specified Monday is because I believe someone earlier on the thread said an AO or counselor said something about Monday, though that could’ve been a different school.

Fair enough. It’s hard to keep track of all the rumors.

any people who didn’t apply EA seeing changes to their checklists?

No change to my checklist. Applied RD.

Our counselor just got a new update. Decisions will drop in the portal either tonight or tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

My D22 is interested in applying to Georgetown next year. We’re in California and so far no SAT testing available. Are any of you applying TO? Interested in what you’ve heard from your GC etc about this issue.

Georgetown is not test optional as the term is ordinarily understood. Students can apply without scores if they didn’t sit for any tests, but then must submit a form in the portal explaining. If a student takes SAT and/or ACT, they must report all of those scores to Georgetown.

Test flexible would be a better term. https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/flexible-testing-requirements/

I don’t mean to call you out personally, but I do think I’m going to have to take your claim with a grain of salt since you previously claimed it would be either the 24th or the 25th. I hope you’re right, though.

I am just reporting what the counselors are being told. Gives you insight as to what is happening internally. I know my counselor is truthful.
