Congratulations to all accepted. Loved Georgetown, was SFS, class of 1991. Yes I know Iām old! Want to share my story in case it helps anyone. Itās a story of perseverance. Georgetown SFS was my dream school - had my heart set on it since 10th grade.
- Applied ED, was deferred.
- Was waitlisted during RD.
- Was contacted to see if wanted to be on priority waitlist (basically some/most on waitlist were told no, I was invited to remain)
- Ultimately didnāt get off waitlist. Georgetown wished me well at my chosen school but did say I was welcome to submit a transfer application.
- Went to another school - knew all along I would try to transfer.
- Applied as transfer and got in!
Again, congratulations to all that have been accepted, and for those that havenāt yet, Iām an example that it can still happen.
