georgetown commit help and questions

so, i sent in my deposit a few weeks ago because i know georgetown is the place for me.
i have a few questions though.
when do they send out net ids/passwords?
when should one sign up for taking language placement tests? (i kinda want to get this out of the way and while i have everything fresh in my mind so i don't have to review some stuff i forgot before i take the test).

(btw, anyone else send in their deposit early and georgetown still hasn't cashed the check?)

I haven’t sent my deposit yet, let me qualify that beforehand.

However, NetIDs will begin to come out after May 1st.

As far as the placement test, I think that it will occur during NSO when we first arrive.

For more information on both of those topics, see this site:

Most students at U.S. mailing addresses should receive NetID password letters 2 to 4 weeks after mailing their deposit. Please wait at least that long to contact us with your photo ID.

If you have not received your NetID password letter by June 2, you can come in person or fax a photo ID to UIS. See the instructions below for requesting a password reset by fax.

The language placement exam is offered at the beginning of each school year. You may register to take the exam with your specific department.

The check has to go through the admissions office and then be sent over to Student Accounts, which has its own schedule for doing things, so it can take awhile for the check to actually get cashed.
